New Windows in Dairy Cottage and a bright sunny start to Christmas
A hectic start to December with new windows being installed in Dairy Cottage our self catering cottage.
We all seem to lead such hectic lives at this time of year, which is why a relaxing walk down to the lake on a crisp cold sunny morning, makes this one of my favourite times of the year, the scenery dramatic and the Lake calm and still.
Our Christmas tree went up last week and although we have only been here just over 2 years, our 3rd Christmas, (where does the time go) I think I buy a bigger tree each year. I will have to stop now, as this year we had to get it delivered and even then, had to chop a bit off the top, the end result looks great. I thought I would be very organised this year and be a head of the game with the mince pies, I don’t seem to able to make them fast enough, mainly due to how quickly David pops them into his mouth when he is walking through the kitchen!! – don’t worry the guests do occasionally have a mince pie!!
New Windows in Dairy Cottage – We have just replaced the windows in Dairy Cottage, which is now double glazed throughout, and with the cosy fire, this makes Dairy Cottage a really cosy place to stay, even in the cold wintery months.
I would like to wish all our guests, new and visiting an enjoyable Christmas and very best wishes for 2013 –hopefully not as wet as 2012!!!
